Tell us something about yourself?

I’m a brand developer by day and an illustrator by night. I took a major in graphic design to further improve my knowledge about art and illustration. I’m a freelance artist that likes to experiment with different styles, but I generally lean towards nature and color.

Where do you draw inspiration for your art?

I take a lot of inspiration from daily life and personal experiences, as cliche as it may sound. It can range from my friends’ fashionable outfits to what we like to watch together. I also absolutely love listening to music for guidance, it’s almost like the audio guides my hand to know what and how to illustrate. I’m also inspired by tv series I watch - I’m drawn to character development and styles for the most part.

Describe your art style?

Since my art is inspired by nature, it is almost always colorful and saturated. I like to draw scenes that are calming and pleasing to the eye. I’m also very much into cute stuff, so I guess my style is very influenced by it.

Have you always wanted to become an artist?

Yes, very much. I grew up surrounded by a lot of art books and animation, and though I began wanting to go through the traditional fine arts path, I then developed more passion towards digital creation because of my friends and my environment.
