Tell us something about yourself?

Hi! I’m Patrishcia Vides N. Gulla, PHILIPPINES!! I’m a big weirdo and I’m also a 4th year Industrial Design Student from The College of Fine Arts UP Diliman. What I like to do in my pastime is either scroll through my social media, cook, paint or 3d model.

Where do you draw inspiration for your art?

I have always been enticed and inspired by Picasso, Matisse, and Karim Rashid, known for their fusion in colors, shapes, and forms. My art is also influenced by the people and things that surround me, my family, imaginary forms I see everywhere, and the weirdness I get from my friends and the people I randomly see everyday.

Describe your art style?

I love color and exploring weird forms and I take inspiration with them. I do my craft traditionally and digitally in either 2d or 3d. I call myself an Unidentified artist because if someone sees my works they go “what the hell is that?” Although I’m still on my journey with my craft, currently my art style is very “alien” especially here in the Philippines, where Maximalism and eccentricity is not much seen, which I love very much with my art.

Have you always wanted to become an artist?

I never knew I wanted to become an artist, until Kto12 happened. Since highschool, I have joined poster and slogan competitions, drawing and painting randomly. I was just doing art for fun but then Seniorhigh came, I was a HUMSS (Humanities and Social Science) student back then and long story short I no longer wanted to share my thoughts through words, I wanted to express myself through visual art which I’m now very happy and passionate about.
