7 things we will definitely miss from the hit K-Drama Vincenzo

May 8, 2021 0 comments

It's been almost a week since we witnessed the breathtaking, spine-tingling last episode of the top-rating Korean series Vincenzo. The David-versus-Goliath story made us all hooked and gave us a lot of underdogs to root for! Who didn't fell in love with our favorite knight in shining armor, our corn salad, Vincenzo Cassano anyway?

This campy K-drama served us perfectly during rough times, and here are some things or characters that we'll miss in the series! Read on as we try to move forward to this series while keeping our fingers crossed for Season 2 or waiting for another hit drama from Song Joong-Ki!

JIPURAGI LAW FIRM

The law firm ran by Hong Yoo-Chan will indeed one of the things that we'll all miss because this is where everything started! This paved the way for Vincenzo to open his heart for the residents, making him Geumga Plaza's hero.

GEUMGA PLAZA AND ITS RESIDENTS

Each resident gave a lot of color to the series. From Mr. Pawnshop owners Lee Chul-Wook and his wife Jang Yeon-Jin, Jeil Dry Cleaner's Tak Hong-Sik and one of the most interesting characters for me, Destiny Piano owner Seo Mi-Ri, the whole Geumga Plza residents gave spice to the series, with each character's unexpected twists and talents!

BABEL GROUP AND WUSANG LAW FIRM VILLAINS

With admirable protagonists comes annoying villains who will surely make us cringe all the time. I'm sure we all hated Japanese food-lover, Zumba enthusiast lawyer Choi-Myung Hee for her corrupt ways, Wusang Law Firm's CEO's Han Seung-Hyuk who's fickle mind brought him to the worst that he could be, and of course, Babel Group's Jang Jun-Woo who's the baddest, psychotic villain we all hate (he's hotness is an exception, though)

JANG HAN-SEO

Can we all give a big round of (virtual) applause to JANG HAN-SEO! He is one of the biggest surprises in the latter part of the show—Jang Jun Woo's half-brother, who played as Babel Group's Chairman. Everyone will miss him, especially in the way his story progressed in the last few episodes! What a character arc for him.

HONG CHA-YOUNG X VINCENZO CASSANO DUO

Hong Cha-Young and Vincenzo had great chemistry. From teaming up to destroy the Babel group, planning on fighting the bad guys and saving those who are good, their couple-perfect OOTD's and heart-to-heart talks made us all kilig. This tandem is undoubtedly added on everyone's #CoupleGoals list.

HONG CHA YOUNG

Don't we all love a woman lead who doesn't need protecting at all? Cha Young's quick-witted, strong-willed personality made her beautiful inside and out. And her go-getter attitude made us root for her to ace every challenge she immerse herself in. Also, I love her relaxed, corporate style! Her work #OOTDs paired up with her natural look makes me want to suit up everyday.

VINCENZO CASSANO.

The Mafia consigliere that we all LOVE. Aside from Mr.Cassano's good-looks and calm but scary ways of dealing with people who harms those who are special to him, his camaraderie with the array of characters around him also remained a highpoint all throughout the series. This is for sure one of Song Joong-Ki's best role because its not that easy to pull of such a gray role advocating merciless justice and he rises up to the challenge, complete with a haunting glint on his eyes. Our corn salad's method of revenge may be shrewd yet crafty, but there is a strong amount of grisly violence thrown in as he does his rampage seeking revenge.

Vincenzo's dramatic entertainment is the perfect fix to our K-drama hearts. But like what they always say, all good things come to an end. The series has ended, but for sure, Vincenzo will be one of the series that is worth binge-watching on, over and over again.
