Viñas Deluxe is the Official Camp Queen of Drag Race Philippines

RuPaul’s Drag Race Philippines season 1 is really out there gagging us with well-seasoned and talented Queens!

We’re now seven episodes in, and the season's cast has already served up some interesting looks in the runways. From their Meet the Queens looks, to their Werk Room entrance, and every runway category, the cast is not here to play with their fashion choices.

The runway challenges have been mind-blowing to watch thus far. However, among all the top-tier queens is one particular camp queen we cannot take our eyes off — our favorite Misis, Viñas Deluxe!

Aside from being the pambansang bunganga ng Pilipinas, Viñas Deluxe, we can confidently say that she is the inaugurated comedy and camp queen of the season. You can't change our minds!

The 25-year-old is undoubtedly a true camp queen who has inundated us with gag after gag fashion choices on the runway. Well, to be completely honest, some choices might not have been the best but have given us a Filipino DRAG in its truest form — creative, campy, and most especially fun!

Viñas Deluxe has established her identity in the drag community with her fun, campy personality and of course, her fabulous looks. Now, we can say, she popped off!

Echoserang jeep

The moment Viñas Deluxe sat on that chair on the Meet the Queens video, we knew shell be serving cunt on the runway. Serving a custom Echoserang jeep costume inspired by the jeep roaming Metro Manila, Viñas has already set herself up to be an icon.

Banyo Queen Realness

Her Werq Room entrance made everyone’s jaw’s drop as she waltzed in her “fresh out of the shower” look with a towel wrapped around her body. This proves that this queen can stop the show with her face cause her visual card never declines!

Sagalamazon Sensation

The D in Deluxe stands for design! Her fellow queens initially worried about her Sagalamazon look but everyone heard her roar as soon as she owned the runway with her design challenge contender. Indeed, she deserved that Ru Badge!

Manananggal Couture

Think Halloween looks can’t be incorporated in drag? This look proves you wrong! This viral run way look features a yassified version of one of the country’s mythical creatures, the Manananggal. Iconic, revolutionary and out of the box! https://www.instagram.com/p/ChrgRP0rntz/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=

Pink Pajama Party

Who knew a bedtime outfit could be glamourized? She definitely did! In her Pink, Pak, Boom runway look, she stuns the run way in a pink-kimono and a glittery face mask. We’d definitely want to see her strut again but this time, with that big Ru-Veal! https://www.instagram.com/p/CiNR4YmrlS7/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=

The head to toe Ruvealation

We've seen a lot of ruveals from the show. From Violet Chachki's tartan look, Roxxxy Andrews wig reveal to Sasha Velour's rose petals. Its easy to say that we have seen it all. That's why imagine how we gaged when Viñas served us a head to toe Ruvealation?! The dress coming from her wig is definitely one for the books!

Hurt Evangelista

“A parody within a parody” That’s the story behind this look. The Shopulence episode wouldn’t be complete with the crazy rich Asian herself, Heart Evangelista. Referencing Paolo Ballesteros’s spoof of the actress for Orocan, the entire panel was sent into fits of laughter as soon as Viñas and her cooler box enter the stage. Kaya tabi, Carlota! Andito na si Mes Hart. (Translation: Move over, Carlota! Miss Hart is here)

Golden Divisoria Diva

She may have closed her time in the competition with this look, but she definitely did it perfectly. Viñas makes Divisoria materials appear deluxe as she outshines all the stage lights in a golden ensemble featuring paper plates and and Manila–paper, not the queen! Plus lipsyncing for her life with her whole fracture situation proves the queen she truly is!

Viñas Deluxe may have sashayed Away from DRPH, but she will never sashay away from our hearts. From designing, to improvising a comedic skit and performing a musical number, she truly proves how much of a versatile queen she really is. If our country could definitely see how much of a dazzling diva you are, then so will the world.

With only six queens left and an initial frontrunner leaving the competition, the intensity heightens for the upcoming episodes. Drag Race Philippines is available for streaming on WOW Presents Plus, Discovery+, and HBO GO
