After the Meme: Where is Viral Meme Queen Querubin Llavore Now?

It was a moment that would go down in Tawag ng Tanghalan history - the day that Querubin Llavore took the stage and wowed the audience with her incredible voice. 

When she was announced as the winner, she was overcome with emotion and tears streamed down her face. But then, something incredible happened. As the camera panned over to her, Querubin caught sight of it and quickly wiped away her tears. In the blink of an eye, her expression changed from one of joy to one of mischief, and she stuck her tongue out at the camera. That moment got stuck among netizens and  Querubin became an instant sensation.


A clip of that exact moment has since gone viral across social media platforms such as Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, and even Reddit, garnering millions of views and hilarious reactions.

The mood that she is

It even reached Tyler, the Creator, who went to look for a video in which the girl on stage is “crying then outta nowhere she makes a funny face then goes back to crying.”
 
Following her viral success, people began to recognize Querubin, and she began to receive requests for her oh-so-famous expressions. But of course, fame comes with a price as it eventually becomes tiring for her to repeat the same thing again and again whenever she meets people who know her and ask her to do the expression.

According to an interview she did with Vice Asia, she used to feel extremely thrilled and would engage in conversation with anybody who recognized her, but nowadays she claims to have grown exhausted and occasionally gets nervous in a crowd. When this occurs while she’s attending an event, she uses the restroom and remains there until she is ready to interact with people again.

Naturally, not everybody is a fan. She was criticized for overacting by some people. Querubin, however, doesn't really bother with what they think. Even though other participants on the show were swayed by other people's opinions and criticisms, Querubin advised not to listen to what others had to say. "You do you, and they do them," she stated. What a true queen indeed!
