Since their explosive debut with “The Beast” in 2022, VXON—made up of C13, Sam, Franz, Patrick, and Vince—has been pushing the limits of what a P-pop group can be. With sharp choreography, genre-defying sound, and visuals that don’t hold back, they’ve rightfully earned the title “Monsters of P-pop.”
But even in a group known for intensity and impact, Vince brings something of his own—an energy that’s grounded, thoughtful, and quietly powerful. Onstage, he moves with precision and passion. Offstage, he’s just as captivating: warm, driven, and deeply in tune with his purpose.
This May, we spent a day with VXON—and took a few shots with Vince, both literal and figurative. From stories to basketball plays, we got a glimpse of what drives him to keep showing up, growing, and taking his shot.
The End Is Just The Beginning
Life in a P-pop boy group is a dance between hustle, hesitation, risks, and rewards. For VXON's Vince, it’s always been about showing up, whether that means hitting the high notes, perfecting a routine, or simply choosing to bet on himself in the game of fate.
Vince’s journey with VXON only became a reality because he dared to face the toughest decision of his life—leaving everything behind and beginning again somewhere else. It demands sacrifice in the face of uncertainty. And that leap of faith didn’t just change Vince’s career. It changed his life. His days got tougher, filled with long hours of dance practice, rehearsals, and juggling a packed schedule. He had to take it day by day and overcome numerous fears with each performance. A required step in building his confidence.
“Ayun yung pinaka malaking risk na ginawa ko,” Vince shares. “But I don’t regret it. Like my family said to me, ‘Whatever makes you happy and whatever gift God gave you, share it.’”
Those early days tested him, not just in skill, but in spirit. But Vince kept showing up, proving that growth doesn’t sprout from dwelling in your comfort zones, but from grit, perseverance, and faith in your own voice and ability. Between dusk and dawn, in the stillness of the new home, Vince’s growth quietly evolved. Through it all, he persists, and this led to him earning his well-deserved spot as VXON’s lead vocalist and visual.
But through thick and thin, what might have been a daunting challenge turned into a memorable journey, with C13, Sam, Franz, and Patrick right by Vince’s side. For him, VXON’s growth is alive in every beat in their songs that sways and experiments with new vibes. VXON creates music that tells a story—an experience the boys have gone through, yet despite the shifts, it always remains unmistakably VXON.“Nakahanap ako ng safe place sa kanila,” he shares. “They’re like brothers… a family that truly supports you whether you’re down or celebrating something big."
And when it comes to appreciating his bandmates, Vince doesn’t hold back, his introspective nature and keen observations reveal a deep fondness for each member. For him, C13’s unwavering confidence lifts him up even in moments of doubt. Sam brings a rare mix of creativity and clear vision for the future. Franz is a songwriting genius, effortlessly adapting to any challenge. And Patrick’s carefree, positive energy is a constant reminder to live in the moment.
Behind the scenes of their music videos and hits is a brotherhood where the boys push each other forward and have each other’s backs no matter what.
Monsters Unleashed To Redefine The Barriers of P-Pop Music
VXON’s journey began with hard-hitting bangers like “Breaking Bad” and “The Beast”—tracks that cemented their fierce, beastlike stage presence. But true to their name, the “Monsters of P-pop” don’t just roar—they evolve.
Vince captures their creative dynamic in one powerful phrase: “Our music is like Yin and Yang.” It’s a balance they’ve honed over the years in the industry. Fierce, high-energy on one end; dreamy and soulful on the other. They can light up a stage with intensity, then pull you into a quiet moment with a gentle lull. This sets them apart from other P-pop groups. Unafraid to evolve, unbound by genre, they shape-shift with every track. At the heart of Vince and VXON’s P-pop journey is a powerful promise to never settle, to always explore, and to push their music into new zones.
That musical duality shows in their growing discography. From sultry R&B and vibrant bubblegum pop to EDM, noise, and even street music. They’re unafraid to experiment, surprise Vixies, and push boundaries. With each track, they show fans a different side of themselves. And Vince loves every part of that process.
Their latest release, “Sh*t Sobrang Init,”* is an epitome of that boldness. Landing on Spotify’s Viral Songs chart, the track marks a clear shift toward a more mature sound and visuals. And while some might see that as risky, for VXON, it’s just real.
“It’s not just about how we dress, it’s about the story we want to tell,” Vince shares. “We’re human too. We’ve grown, and we feel all these emotions.”
That artistic evolution wasn’t always easy, but it has a purpose. VXON's Vince revealed that they set out to create music we could truly connect with, and they delivered. They listened, they grew, and in doing so, they showed their authentic selves. It’s not just another same ol' tune—it’s music that speaks to our experiences, creating a bond that goes beyond the beats and lyrics. It’s a shared feeling, something real we all hold onto.
And if you think they’ve shown all their cards, think again. Vince hints that more sounds, stories, and surprises are on the horizon. “Abangan niyo na lang guys,” he says with a cheeky smile.
Vince might be the most introspective one, but that just makes him even stronger. His sensitivity brings a kind of comfort that really connects with both VXON and the Vixies on a deeper level. The kind that bridges the gap between music and reality.
And if there’s one thing he wants to leave us with, it’s this:
“Just believe in yourself. That’s really the key. Don’t lose yourself—because when you do, it doesn’t matter how many people believe in you if you don’t believe in yourself. Focus on building who you are, so you can share that love with others.”
For Vince, life isn’t just about winning, it’s about showing up, again and again, ready to take his shot. No matter how far he goes, his aim remains true: to grow, to inspire, and to keep living the dream he once only imagined.
