JD Sports’ Second Philippine Store Lands In Glorietta

Following the success of its first store in SM Mall of Asia, JD Sports—the UK’s leading sneaker and sport fashion retailer, has officially opened its second store in the Philippines at Glorietta 2, Makati City, bringing the global streetwear and sneakers scene straight to the Filipinos.

“The opening of our Glorietta store marks another key moment in JD Sports’ growth in Southeast Asia,” said Hilton Seskin, CEO of JD Sports APAC. “Together with our partner, SSI Group, we are excited to bring JD’s unique retail experience and exclusive product offering to more Filipino consumers.”To officially kick off its launch last July 25, 2025, JD Sports hosted a grand opening event at Glorietta Activity Center, headlined by renowned host Janeena Chan. The celebration featured a runway-style fashion show, showcasing JD’s newest collection where performance wear meets streetwear styles. Also, the fashion show highlights how JD Sport lets individuality shine through every athleisure looks.

Anthony T. Huang, President and CEO of SSI Group, Inc., shared, “With the launch of JD Sports in Glorietta, we’re making it even more convenient for our customers to access the latest in global sneaker and street fashion. This second store continues to be a reflection of our commitment to growing the JD brand in the Philippines and inspiring the country’s youth and style culture.”

Adding even more hype to the event, the Filipino rapper Al James took the stage with a live performance that lit up the entire venue. Guests also enjoyed the in-store interactive activities such as customization booths where they could design their own JD duffle bags, a show-cleaning station powered by Crep Protection, and interactive brand pop-ups.

Shoppers can explore footwear and apparel from world’s top brands including Nike, Adidas, Puma, New Balance and more. You can also find the JD-exclusive colorways at the Glorietta branch, including the limited-edition Puma Speedcat in Pink Pixel and Glowing Red—a limited pair that you won’t find anywhere else.

The arrival of JD Sports in Glorietta is made possible through its partnership with the SSI Group, Inc., the country’s leading specialty retailer. Together, they aim to make JD Sports part of the Philippine fashion and lifestyle scene by bringing top-tier sportswear and streetwear to more Filipinos.
