Yes, Vice President Leni Robredo has three daughters and lahat sila may degree

It is probably every parent’s dream to watch their child graduate, achieve their dreams, and take a big leap to wherever life may take them. With this, most parents can relate to VP Leni Robredo’s proud moment as her daughter, Jillian Robredo, graduated from college at New York University.

After a long and controversial campaign for the 2022 National Elections, the Robredos flew to New York to attend Jillian’s graduation, to spend time, and to take a well-deserved break. Netizens can’t help but to feel proud too for VP Leni and her daughters. VP Leni raised Aika, Tricia, and Jillian on her own after her husband, former DILG Secretary Jesse Robredo, died on August 18, 2012 in a plane crash. Netizens admired how her daughters seemed to be low-profile but are achievers in their respective fields.

The Robredo sisters do not just inspire people with their humility and kindness but also through their academic success. Let’s take a look at Aika, Tricia, and Jillian’s educational backgrounds:

Aika Robredo

Jessica Marie “Aika” Gerona Robredo is the eldest daughter of VP Leni and late DILG Sec. Jesse Robredo. She was born on January 12, 1988 in Naga City, aged 34 years old. She finished her studies at Ateneo de Manila University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Management Engineering degree and graduated with honors. She also received her Master's degree from Harvard University in 2018 after earning her Bachelor's degree in 2008.

Tricia Robredo

Janine Patricia “Tricia” Gerona Robredo is the second daughter of VP Leni and the late Jesse Robredo. She graduated with a dual degree in Doctor of Medicine and Master of Business Administration from the Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health. Tricia caught the hearts of the netizens with her beautiful face and eloquence when speaking especially during campaign rallies.

Jillian Robredo

Jillian Therese “Jill” Gerona Robredo is the youngest daughter of VP Leni and the late Jesse Robredo. She was born on February 26, 2000, aged 22 years old. Jillian recently graduated from New York University where she earned her double degree in mathematics and economics under a full scholarship. Netizens refer to her as the “favorite daughter” of Vice President Leni Robredo.

No wonder why netizens were amazed at how VP Leni has successfully raised her daughters despite the death of her husband and despite the issues being thrown at her. It is amazing how mothers can endure such weight and still give their best in nurturing their children. The Robredo's are truly an inspiration to a lot of people especially the youth to finish their studies, achieve their dreams, and get that dream degree.
