It’s official. The country’s biggest and most anticipated fashion event is back this October with a fresh new identity that’s bold, creative, and unapologetically Filipino. What started as BYS Fashion Week, the platform that redefined the local style scene with iconic collaborations and groundbreaking shows, is now reborn as Manila Fashion Week.
From BYS to Manila Fashion Week
Since it began, BYS Fashion Week has been all about pushing boundaries and rewriting the rules of local fashion. It brought together designers, brands, and artists who shared one mission: to shape a modern vision of Filipino style. Over the years, it became more than just a fashion event — it became a creative movement, a safe space where both rising and established talents could shine.
Now, with its evolution into Manila Fashion Week (MNLFW), the platform steps into a bigger spotlight. This transformation is more than a rebrand. It’s a renewed commitment to amplify local voices while placing the Philippines on the international fashion calendar.
The 2025 Line-Up
Mark your calendars. Manila Fashion Week 2025 runs from October 16 to 19 at SM Aura, Bonifacio Global City, featuring a powerhouse roster of designers and brands who define what Filipino fashion means today:
Every year, BYS Fashion Week has drawn some of the biggest names in Philippine fashion, media, and entertainment. This year, Manila Fashion Week promises even more — more star power, more creativity, and more moments that celebrate Filipino identity through style.
Leading the Movement
At the forefront of this exciting transformation is John Lozano, the founder of Manila Fashion Week. His vision is to create a world-class platform that stays rooted in Filipino identity while reaching international standards.
“There’s just so much talent in the country but not a lot of avenues to showcase them properly,” says Lozano. “We hope that at least, for fashion, MNLFW can be a platform for Filipino designers and brands to show the world their story and what they can offer.”
“Ultimately, the goal is for MNL Fashion Week to be an event that the region, if not the world, will look forward to,” Lozano adds. “And for it to be a launchpad for Filipino talent to go global. But for now, we just want it to be a celebration of the best in Filipino fashion.”
Powered by Creativity and Collaboration
Manila Fashion Week 2025 is powered by Ploom and presented in partnership with BYS, SM Aura, Deoproce, Bioten, Nustar, DOST PTRI, Nutrifizz, Sula, Spacey, and KMC Solutions.

This October, the spotlight belongs to Filipino fashion. Manila Fashion Week isn’t just a rebrand — it’s a reminder that Filipino creativity has always been world-class, and it’s time the world sees it too.
