New year, new show to look forward to, particularly for Kathniel fans!

Fans of reel to real couple Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla have something to look forward to this year as the beloved couple is making their teleserye comeback!

Kathniel is currently working on a new project conceptualized by 'Gaya sa Pelikula' screenwriter and spoken word artist Juan Miguel Severo, who also happens to be one of their close friends.

Last night, Juan Miguel tweeted a teaser for the upcoming series with the caption:

 ‘Panahon na naman ng pag-ibig'.

"Una, excited kami sa teleserye na gagawin. Kasi yung concept nun, nanggaling kay Gege [Juan Miguel Severo]. So it’s something na gusto namin ni DJ talaga kaya medyo nadelay dahil inaayos pa yung script. We’re happy because we’re working on a project na gusto namin yung concept," Kathryn said during the bloggers press conference for the finale of The House Arrest of Us Wednesday, January 13,

"Malayo sa last na ginawa namin, which excites me and DJ, kasi matagal na naming gusto gumawa ng ganitong klase pero mahirap ito sa execution. Kailangan talaga ng time namin for that," Kathryn added.

Juan Miguel and Kathniel first worked together in the movie 'The Hows of Us' back in 2018.  However just last year, the group once again had the chance to work together as Juan Miguel wrote the script for Ben&Ben’s music video of ‘Sa Susunod na Habang Buhay’ which also featured Kathryn and Daniel.
