Sweater weather is here and these influencers are rocking it!

Feb 6, 2022 0 comments

It’s February, and somehow, it’s also the coldest month of 2022 so far. September usually marks the start of sweater weather, but things have changed.

Sweater weather is not about that nostalgic and tear-jerking song of The Neighbourhood. But the time of the year, wherein Sweaters are out in the streets again. Though it has a bad reputation for being boring, the clean and minimalist staple is one of the easiest ways to look good this season.

Cold weather is a high season for fashion, but let’s be honest — it presents challenges. After all, it can be hard to put together outfits that look exceptionally stylish for workdays, casual weekends, and nights out while also staying warm.

We looked through some of our favorite fashion influencers on Instagram to see how they’ve been styling their sweaters for inspiration. So bring out that old sweater your grandmother gave you because we have styling to do!

 Sweater & Trouser

Today’s most fashionable street style stars know how to mix formal pieces with basic separates to create outfits that feel fresh. Here, Lance De Ocampo (@lancedeocampo) mixed up the basic sweater with trouser to level up the look. This classic combination is very versatile because you can wear it on a casual or semi-formal event.

 Sweater & Bold Prints

When the weather cools, it doesn’t mean you have to comprise your style. Heres a thing, you can wear a sweater without looking too basic! Add spunk by wearing sweaters with bold prints, just like EJ Nacion (@ejnacion). The combination is unexpected, confident, and fashionable. Don’t let the weather wear you off!

 Layered-Look Sweater

Sweaters are far more playful fashion pieces than most men tend to think. There are countless ways to style it up. You can pair them with different pants, or you can layer it. Here Alvin Liwanag (alvinbelmonts) looks nothing but fun and exciting for the sweater weather!
