Guess what, OPM fans? A fantastic surprise is on the way just for you! Parokya ni Edgar's awesome songs are taking center stage in a brand-new musical that'll make you smile.

During the last show of Ang Huling El Bimbo The Musical (AHEB) at the Newport Performing Arts Theater, something super cool happened. The Full House Theater Company gave us a sneak peek of what's coming next – the Parokya ni Edgar musical!

What we know about the Parokya ni Edgar musical in 2024:

During the final show of Ang Huling El Bimbo The Musical (AHEB), the talented cast and creative team burst into the catchy tune of "Harana," a famous song by Parokya ni Edgar from 1997. And guess what? Behind them, a big screen lit up with icons that connect to the band's other awesome tracks. There's a guitar, matching up with "Harana," a mouth-watering slice of pizza for "Picha Pie," a cool mustache symbolizing "Mr. Suave," two bottles of chilled beer for "Inuman Na," and even a playful chicken (or bird) that might just be hinting at "Don't Touch My Birdie."

And here's the juicy part: towards the end of this awesome animation, the words "Abangan 2024" pop up, leaving us all eagerly waiting for what's in store next!

Details have yet to be revealed by Full House Theater Company. But it's probably going to be at the Newport Performing Arts Theater, which is Full House's home venue. Dingdong Novenario, the talented writer behind an Eraserheads-inspired musical, won't ve the one writing it, though.
