Filipio's animated film  "Iti Mapukpukaw" (The Missing) is set to stream on Netflix on February 24!

Directed by Carl Joseph Papa, the story revolves around Eric, a Filipino animator without a mouth. When an alien arrives, his life takes an intriguing turn, causing his memories to unravel.

Starring Carlo Aquino, Dolly de Leon, and Gio Gahol, "Iti Mapukpukaw" claimed the title of Best Film at the Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival 2023, and securing the prestigious NETPAC Award for full-length feature films.

The film also made history as Cinemalaya's first-ever animated full-length entry. A collaborative effort involving ninety animators and co-produced by Project 8, alongside GMA Public Affairs First Vice President and GMA Pictures Senior Vice President Nessa Valdellon made the movie possible showcasing the power of creativity and storytelling.

Last year, despite being the Philippines' official entry for the Best International Feature Film category at the 96th Academy Awards, the film narrowly missed the final nominee list.

Don't miss the chance to witness the magic when "Iti Mapukpukaw" starts streaming on Netflix!
