LOOK: "Here Comes the Bride" is Getting a Musical Adaptation in 2025!

Remember the iconic 2010 movie "Here Comes the Bride" where souls got switched like jumbled wires during a solar eclipse? Well, brace yourselves because the movie is getting a musical adaptation in 2025!

Director Chris Martinez, the mastermind behind iconic Pinoy films like "Kimmy Dora" and "Ang Babae sa Septic Tank," is bringing the story to the stage in a brand new production called "Here Comes The Musical."

Much like the movie, this side-splitting musical will follow the same premise: five souls get tangled up in a cosmic switcheroo during a celestial event. We're talking about hilarious body swaps, identity crises, and probably some dance moves – all set to a catchy soundtrack, of course!

The 2010 comedy film "Here Comes the Bride" starred Angelica Panganiban, Eugene Domingo, and John Lapus. In 2023, a sequel titled "Here Comes the Groom" was released, featuring a new cast: Enchong Dee, Maris Racal, Keempee de Leon, and Eugene Domingo with a new role.

Details on the upcoming stage musical have yet to be announced.

You can watch the entire film uploaded by ABS-CBN Star Cinema below.
