From Film Scenes to Stage Dreams
Before the stage lights and streaming charts, there was a kid with big dreams and a drive to create. Franz was a film student before he became a PPop member. “It’s on hold now. Because maybe I can’t balance doing schedules, doing other things. This time, I really need to focus on one thing,” Franz shares about his studies. And the one thing he chose to focus on is VXON.
Since debuting in 2022 with The Beast, VXON—C13, Sam, Patrick, Vince, and Franz, has been on a steady rise, earning the title “Monsters of P-pop” with their genre-bending sound and sharp performances. They’ve embraced reinvention, taken risks, and shown that there’s strength in doing things your own way. For Franz, being part of that journey has been one of the most rewarding chances he’s ever taken.
Franz didn’t press pause in his film career because he stopped loving it, he just knew he couldn’t give both 100% at the same time. And honestly? He never really left it behind. “Since I am in a creative industry, I had an outlet to explore more of my creativity. In songwriting, I’m very hands-on. I also help conceptualize video shoots. I applied what I studied to where I am now.” Let’s be real, Franz isn’t just good at performing, he’s also building something. As the youngest member of VXON, he’s known for his creativity, not just in performing, but also in shaping the group’s direction. With music, visuals, and storytelling, he’s bringing it all together and shaping VXON’s identity from all angles! So no, it wasn’t wasted. He just found a new way to use it. Franz just took the shot and believed in himself.
“Naniniwala pa rin ako na sa lahat ng sacrifices na ginagawa namin, may magandang bagay na idudulot yun.” That’s how you turn a pause into power. Not the end of one thing, but the beginning of something else.
Every Shot Comes with Support
For every decision and shots Franz had to make, there’s a sacrifice not many people saw. But through all the highs and lows, one thing kept him grounded: his members. “They always push me,” he shares.
Being part of the group wasn’t just a career move—it was a turning point. Surrounded by people who understood his vision and pushed him to grow, Franz found more than just a stage, he found his voice. In VXON, he discovered not only a creative outlet but a second family, a safe space where he could evolve as both an artist and a person.
“Di nagkukulang yung mga members ko to push me, and to remind me why I started doing this, and why I'm here, and kung ano yung gusto naming maachieve.”
VXON—C13, Sam, Patrick, and, Vince, all bring something different to their group. They all come from different backgrounds, but they meet at one shared mindset; growth. They push each other not only to be better artists, but better individuals. They remind him of the shared dream, the collective effort, the purpose behind every performance and every tiring day, and the reason for all the risks taken.
And when it comes to taking shots? This group takes them head-on, together. This mindset led to their boldest move yet.
“Us, kami po as a group, we always take risks when it comes to our music. We don't put ourselves in a box. In every release, we make sure that it's a different flavor, it's a different style.”
Having the courage to explore any genre is what made VXON find their own sound. When their management heard SSP or Saksak Sa Puso, they said, “anlayo sa brand, anlayo sa sound niyo na usual.” “Pero nilaban ko talaga siya nang nilaban,” Franz shares. He believed in the track. He saw the track as a reflection of where the group was headed. And he was right. SSP became the main track. It resonated, not just with the group, but with fans who danced to it, posted about it, and called it their sound. Franz showed us that when you put all your trust on your team and your sound, you don’t just make music, you make a mark! People even told them, “this is your sound, this is your niche in PPop.” And just like that, what started as a risk became a breakthrough.
Franz may be the bunso of VXON, but when it comes to drive and direction, he's far from being the baby. He's a visionary in the making, one who knows that great art requires great risks. And he's not afraid to take them. Franz's love for storytelling shows up in the smallest details, how he crafts lyrics, how he envisions a scene for a music video, how he connects with fans through visuals and emotion. He just gets it! Ppop isn't just about performing, it's about making people feel something.
To Anyone Standing on Edge and About to Take the Shot
If there’s anything Franz’s journey shows, it’s that success doesn’t come from playing it safe. It comes from choosing to try. To believe. To leap, even when it’s unclear where you’ll land.
“Always believe in yourself. Don’t listen to what other people say when it comes to your passion, your dreams. The first person to support you is yourself. If you don’t believe in yourself in the first place, who else will?”
It’s not about being fearless. Franz has had his share of fear. But he keeps moving forward, trusting that what he’s fighting for is worth it. Even when others don’t understand. Even when the road ahead isn’t clear. Because every shot you take brings you closer to the person you’re meant to become. Every risk you take becomes space for your voice to come through.
And for Franz, it’s clear: he’s not just finding the spotlight, he’s finding his voice in every beat. And honestly? We're so here for the success and growth of our best boy!
