Dolly de Leon Stars in Sunnies Studios Campaign “Dolly Meets the Dollies”

Dolly de Leon is no stranger to transformation. From scene-stealing performances on screen to redefining what it means to be a modern Filipina icon, the award-winning actress has built a career on embracing complexity. In Sunnies Studioslatest campaign, Dolly Meets the Dollies,” she brings that same energy—this time through eyewear that reflects the many sides of her personality.

Playful, confident, and refreshingly personal, the campaign stars de Leon in multiple versions of herself, each one styled with different Sunnies frames and tinted lenses.

Dolly Meets the Dollies

Unlike many celebrity partnerships, this collaboration feels organic. Dolly de Leon has been a Sunnies Studios fan long before becoming the face of the campaign, drawn first by a very specific detail she had been searching for.

“For the longest time, I’ve always been looking for the aviator frames with the two bars in the middle,” de Leon shared. “No other optical shop had that, but with Sunnies, I found that they had it and they were selling it for a very affordable price, so that’s what drew me to Sunnies initially.”

That moment of discovery turned into a lasting relationship with the brand.  “I finally got my dream frames from Sunnies, and since then, I’ve been hooked,” she added.

When a Frame Feels Like Home

At the heart of “Dolly Meets the Dollies” is the idea that eyewear is more than an accessory—it’s an extension of self. For de Leon, one frame stands out as the most her.

“My favorite that I really feel myself [in] are the Noah tints,” she said. “I love it so much, and this is one thing I also love about Sunnies. I don’t know if other frame shops do this, but you can put tint on your lens, which I love.”

True to her expressive and playful nature, de Leon takes full advantage of the brand’s customizable lenses.
“I have them (Noah) in different colors. I have blue, orange, yellow, pink, and green in this one. Ang arte ko ‘noh?” she laughed. “Yeah, that’s why I love it because it’s very versatile.”

The result is a collection that mirrors her personality—layered, expressive, and unafraid to stand out.

With “Dolly Meets the Dollies,” Sunnies Studios celebrates self-expression in all its forms. Fronted by Dolly de Leon, the campaign is a reminder that style isn’t about choosing one version of yourself—it’s about embracing them all.
