You should add these Female musical duos to your playlist ASAP!

A full decade since Beyoncé fearlessly declared “Who run the world? Girls,” women all around the world continue to kick ass in their chosen careers, making waves and excelling in every industry out there. The local music scene is no exception to that.

We have so many wonderful and talented female solo artists, musicians, songwriters, and composers in OPM these days. Today, though, allow us to give the spotlight to the female duos who are setting the stage on fire (virtually, for now) with their great music.

Just who are these duos whose songs you must listen to? Read on and find out!

allen&elle

If you’re up for some gospel, soul, and R&B music, allen&elle is a female duo you should definitely listen to. Signed under Tarsier Records, allen&elle began performing as a unit in 2016 and have sinced released songs that include Rest, Ruby, and their latest release, You.

Don’t forget to follow their FacebookTwitter, and Instagram for updates and stream their music on YouTube and Spotify!

 GIBBS

They may be the daughters of actress Bing Loyzaga and singer Janno Gibbs, but songwriting sisters Chi and Gabs aim to make a name for themselves as the musical duo GIBBS. Likewise signed under Tarsier Records, GIBBS screams retro glam, which you can get a taste of with their songs No Hearts and Angel Baby.

Learn more about them through their Instagram and listen to their music via Spotify! You can also follow Chi and Gabs on their individual Instagram account.

 Leanne & Naara

Leanne Mamonong and Naara Acueza became each other’s first friends in college and now make up the duo Leanne & Naara. Their first single, Again, was released back in 2016 and has since been followed by other releases such as New York and BackSomedayDaybreak, and their most recent single, Prayers.

Follow them on FacebookTwitter, and Instagram for more updates. You can also check out their music on YouTube and Spotify.
