Rak of Aegis is set in the fictional community of Barangay Venezia, where an aspiring singer named Aileen tries her luck to become a YouTube sensation in the hopes of helping her Barangay, which has been submerged in floodwater for two months.

If missed its previous runs at the theater or are just want to watch the show, get ready to get a heavy dose of nostalgia because the musical features iconic songs from the 90s band Aegis, including "Halik," "Sinta," "Basang Basa sa Ulan," and more.

The musical debuted in January 2014 and ran for seven seasons untill September 2019. Rak of Aegis is written by Liza Magtoto and directed by Maribel Legarda, the artistic director of PETA, with musical direction, arrangement, and vocal direction by Myke Solomon.

Some of its principal cast members from the show include Aicelle Santos, Kim Molina, Pepe Herrera, Jerald Napoles, Kakai Bautista, Isay Alvarez, and Robert Seña.

There’s no word yet on ticket details, but you can follow PETA and Ticket2Me Facebook pages for updates.
