Ricky Lee to hold free online scriptwriting workshop

With the widespread effect of the COVID-19 outbreak in the country, It’s tough out there right now. That’s undeniable. But this will not stop Ricky Lee from sharing his craft to young aspiring screenwriters. 

With the orders of social distancing, curfews, quarantines and lockdowns, Lee has decided to hold a free online scriptwriting workshops on April 8, 15 and 22.

Cinema Centenario announced the event on Facebook post on Sunday, March 22. 

“Magkakalayo man tayo ngayon, ilalapit tayo ng kuwento. Magbasa. Magsulat. Magkuwento,” the poster for the workshop said.





For those who are interested, applicants must be at least 18 years old and a Filipino citizen. Applicants must also send a letter of intent and a writer's bio to banalramel@gmail.com by 11:59 pm on Friday, March 27.
