Celebrate National Arts Month by following these young artists on Instagram

ICYMI, February is actually National Arts Month here in our country! The National Commission for Culture and the Arts is spearheading the celebrations and you can check out the different events they have in store on their Facebook page


As our way of celebrating National Arts Month, we’ve compiled a list of young local artists that you should click follow for on Instagram! While the pandemic has restricted visits to galleries and museums, many of our artists have used social media as their platform to share their art with the masses. We’re sure they’ve got more to share very soon so keep a lookout for these talented and skilled artists!


Bryan Pollero

Bryan works primarily in water-color. y’all check him out on Instagram his work is outstanding! 

CJ Teodosio

What makes CJ’s works unique is that behind them are amazing stories from people. 

Gabby Prado

Gabby’s work mingles abstract with psychedelic imagery and synesthetic perception. 

Gabi Nazareno

Gabi is an artist from Bohol. She finished her studies in Mass Communication at the University of the Philippines Cebu (2011). She primarily works with Pencil, Oil, Acrylic, Prints, and Sculptures. In 2020, she had a solo exhibition, “Where Are We?” 

Jiddu San Jose

Jiddu works primarily with water-color in black and white. Her etchings are wonderful and so evocative 

Maricar Tolentino

Maricar creates embroidery often with human figures and themes. She also sells them in her shop. 

Raxenne Maniquiz

For Raxenne Flowers and felines serves as her muses. 

Regina Reyes

On her ig bio Regina wrote, “I tell stories,” she does not lie. She uses her artistry to elevate stories from society and of her own. 

Rian Gonzales

Rian is an artist with a focus on whimsical muses. She uses high saturation/psychedelic colors, and emotion, with—probably magic— on the side! 

Allison Te
