Thank you, Tiktok! We finally found the girl behind the iconic Daniel Padilla fan girl video.

“Deeejaaaaayyyy!” A lot of us are familiar with this video of a fangirl being hysterical that she has seen DJ (Daniel Padilla’s nickname) and that she held his hand at an event.

This video has resurfaced on Tiktok, after Aldene Lu Alipoyo (@queendaljenner on Tiktok) posted a video of her recreating the iconic video after nine years.

@queendalljenner OG FANGIRL OF DANIEL “DEEEEEJAYYY” PADILLA HAHAHAHAHHA TABANGGGG. Grabeee 9 yrs ago na pala until now viral parin 😝. #viralvideo #fyp #viraltiktok #danielpadilla #fangirl ♬ Hindi to plastik plastik hindi to gaya gaya - Conniechiwa

Netizens noticed Aldene’s glow up from her look nine years ago vs. now:

People also can’t help but reminisce about when they first watched the video and laughed their hearts out. Alden's video is relatable for a lot of fangirls/fanboys since we all have our fangirling phase whether it’s for a Kpop group, a Filipino idol, or just someone we idolize.

As of now, the video has reached almost 500k views and 70k likes on Tiktok. Netizens refer to her as the “OG Fangirl” and as a legend for her iconic video.

Meeting the person you idolize is one of the best feelings in the world. From seeing them in pictures to seeing them in person can make any fangirl go gaga. At the end of the day, fangirls/fanboys are more than just teenagers screaming at events or in front of the television. It comes from a diverse set of people supporting their idols in the best way they can.
