Toni Fowler Reminds Netizens That Her Songs Are For Grown-Ups Only!

May 15, 2023 2 comments

Toni Fowler reminded us of parental responsibility and the need to be vigilant in determining what youth should see and hear online.

In the past couple of weeks, the netizens have been going wild and excited over Toni Fowler’s giveaway and prizes for the most entertaining content about her songs. iPhone 14, 10k, rhinoplasty, concert tickets, “Mommy Oni,” as they call her, is not fooling around. Many thought it was just a joke until some took the challenge and shared photos with her while receiving their prizes.

However, in one of Toni's posts on her Tiktok account 2 days ago, she expressed her sentiment about this one entry which she found lame and unamusing. In that post, she seemingly forewarned and captioned it, “ Tigilan niyo yung ganitong entry di ako natutuwa.”

The Bothering Entry

In the video post, Toni expressed that she was bothered by the entry of the young girls who were trimming after her, where she was repeatedly tagged for them to be noticed. During the course of filming their entry, Toni said she overheard an adult saying “Sige, gayahin niyo, gayahin niyo.” Toni was unsure of this person's relationship to these girls, but said that they would not stop until they receive the iPhone14.

The content creator/ influencer clearly indicated in the beginning of the post that the song is not for children, but for adults. With that, she rode along, all knowing that only the adults were in it.

Pero eto, this is too much.”

Toni Fowler's Call for Awareness

After having watched that, Toni Fowler just posted her call for awareness especially for the parents and reminded them that it was only for them (adults). Parents should not be the one to let kids be involved in doing and imitating what Toni does, or more so hear her song.

Further, she reiterated that as parents, it is a responsibility to discern what they want their children to see or hear online; Parents should actually guide and look after them while they are browsing on social media and make sure that the contents they are viewing are all appropriate for their age.

On the other side, many netizens also expressed their sentiment by calling her out for creating such music or content with full of provoking sexual references. Some people said that as a content creator or influencer who holds massive influence and platform, it is her responsibility to post content that the youth will benefit from, or more substantial.

At the end, she informed us about her new song that was just released. She gave a heads up, that again, it is only appropriate for mature and grown audiences.
