Filipino alternative pop sensation Cup of Joe is giving fans a special treat with the release of their Silakbo (Live) album — a nostalgic and high-energy revisit to the band’s unforgettable Silakbo concert experience in Manila.
Released on October 17, 2025, the live record features performances captured during Cup of Joe’s second major solo concert, held on February 8 and 9, 2025, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City. The two-night event celebrated the band’s debut album, Silakbo, showcasing their heartfelt lyricism and melodic sound that has defined their rise in the OPM scene.
From ‘Silakbo’ to ‘Stardust’
Following the success of Silakbo, Cup of Joe returned to the Big Dome for another milestone: the sold-out three-day “Stardust” concert. This third major solo concert once again proved their unparalleled connection with fans, filling the Araneta Coliseum to full capacity for three consecutive nights.
The achievement also marked history for the venue, as The Araneta Group recognized Cup of Joe as the first Filipino band to achieve five sold-out concert days in a single year — an extraordinary feat that underscores their massive following and impact in OPM.
During Stardust, the band performed their best-loved hits such as “Tingin,” “Misteryoso,” “Ikaw Pa Rin Ang Pipiliin Ko,” “Estranghero,” “Sandali,” and the chart-topping “Multo.” Each night was made even more memorable with surprise collaborations from Gloc-9 (“Bagsakan”), APO Hiking Society (“Panalangin”), and Yeng Constantino (“Jeepney Love Story”).
Chart-Topping Triumphs
Cup of Joe’s rise continues to reach unprecedented heights. The band was recently honored by Believe Music for surpassing 4 billion total streams across all platforms — officially crowning them the most-streamed artist in the Philippines.
On Spotify, they boast over 11.6 million monthly listeners, with “Multo” holding the record as the longest-running #1 song and most single-day streams in Spotify Philippines’ history. Their achievements didn’t stop there — Billboard Philippines also recognized Cup of Joe for spending 27 consecutive weeks at #1 on the Billboard PH Top 100, marking “Multo” as the longest-charting top song in the chart’s history.
Cup of Joe Takes OPM Global
Riding high on this wave of success, Cup of Joe is now ready to bring their music to fans around the globe through their 2025 World Tour. The tour will kick off in Los Angeles and continue across major cities in the United States, Canada, and the United Arab Emirates.
