Ben&Ben is joining the list of local musicians having Livestream concert on social media to raise donations for those affected by COViD-19.

The indie band is set to hold an online fundraising showcase titled, 'Puhon: A Ben&Ben FB Live Event for the COVID-19 Efforts' on March 27. But here's the catch—even before the actual live jam, the group has already raised PHP 1 million—imagine that!

Music for hope

The FB Live streaming will be launched along with Ben&Ben's community-initiative website, puhon.ph. Which aims to uplift boost the morale of all those affected by COVID-19.

The said event will also provide an opportunity for people to contribute to helping frontliners and poor urban community affected by coronavirus.

According to the band, all proceeds from this project will be used to buy COVID19 test kits, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and nutrition support for frontline healthcare workers, and relief goods for daily wage earners.

Other local musicians such as Ebe Dancel and Ryan Cayabyab have also launched FB live concerts to help people survive the month-long Luzon-wide quarantine amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
