Admit it, these K-drama actors are getting better and better each year. From original Oppas like Song Joong-Ki, Park Seo-Joon, and Lee Min-Ho, these actors have always been giving us everything we need!

Now that a new wave of k-drama actors are invading our screens, it's about time to get to know them one by one. First up, one of the up-and-coming actors who are making waves in K-drama is Baeksang Arts Awards 2021's New Actor Awardee Lee Do-Hyun.

With every role this new Oppa portrays, it is obvious that he always understands the assignment! From the second lead that we're all rooted for on Hotel Del Luna, Crush-ng-bayan worthy role on 18 Again, and brooding leader with a heart on Sweet Home, Lee Do-Hyun is a rising actor that is totally on our radar!

If you want to get to know our newest Oppa, read on!

He used to play basketball

According to soompi.com's article, he'd spend a lot of time playing basketball in his school days. He was even a point guard! He shared that if his father hadn't been against it, he would have continued playing.

He is family-oriented

In his interview with Esquire Korea, Lee Do-Hyun shared that his family's welfare is his main priority. Living with a brother with special needs might be hard for everyone, but our loving Oppa, he is the gem of their family. Lee Do-Hyun also shared that his family is currently facing problems that he hopes to resolve before he finally enlists for his mandatory military service in the future.

He wanted to be called the "Master Of Rom-Coms"

When you ask a new artist what they want to accomplish, they would probably say that they want to play action films and all the macho films. But for our cute Oppa, he wants to do more romantic comedies until he enlists in the military. He also might as well be a "sexy actor" once he returns from the military and after he turns 30.

He considers his role in Hotel Del Luna as his "most prized role"

After breaking into the entertainment industry with small roles, Lee Do-Hyun was lucky enough to bag the role of Go Chung-Myung, IU's past lover in Hotel Del Luna. He charmed the viewers with his dashing aura as the series' second lead. He shared that it was hard playing the character, but it was worth it because the viewers loved his character a lot.

He once broke up with his ex-girlfriend for a role

Taking his craft seriously, Lee Do-Hyun stays in character throughout filming. This was especially true for when he did Sweet Home, where he didn't speak much with the other actors on set. He even took his acting one step further by breaking up with his girlfriend at the time in order to deliver a better performance playing a heartbroken character.

He used to do a bit of contemporary dance and acrobatics

During an episode of JTBC's "Ask Us Anything", The 26-year-old actor showed off his dancing skills with a performance to Woodkid's "Run Boy Run", in which he shared that he performed the piece on his middle school talents show.
