Brace yourself for the highly-anticipated return of BGYO! After nearly half a year since their debut, the rising P-Pop boygroup BGYO is set to make a comeback this August 20 with a new single titled “The Baddest''.

On Tuesday, the group dropped a video teaser revealing the new single’s title and a glimpse of what to expect for “The Baddest” era. The video featured the quintet being monitored and was greeted by a mysterious female voice as they entered a surveillance room. Prior to the video, a series of cryptic clues and hints teased the ACEs (BGYO fans) over social media revealing the dark and mysterious concept of the new single.

As the comeback date nears, concept photos of each member are also started to be released on the group’s official social media accounts.

Known for their youthful looks, great vocals and perfectly in sync choreos, the five-member group composed of Gelo, JL, Akira, Mikki, and Nate trained for two years under ABS-CBN’s Starhunt Academy. The group was formally launched in January of this year with the debut single “The Light”. In May, the group released their second single “He’s Into Her” which is the official theme song of the hit teen series with the same title. They were then featured in the Special Station ID of ABS-CBN “Feel Good Pilipinas'' together with KZ Tandingan.

Most recently, BGYO collaborated with acoustic singer Keiko Necessario for the inspirational song “Runnin” as part of the latest season of Coke Studio. With the bright and fun concepts of their previous releases, the upcoming single “The Baddest'' is anticipated to give us a different side of BGYO that we’ve never seen before.
