Known as an Idol-Band aka the idols of your idols, Day6 is a Korean Band under JYP entertainment, with members Sungjin, Jae, YoungK, Wonpil, and Dowoon. The group recently had its comeback last April with the title song, You Make Me from their album The Book of Us: Negentropy, while their sub-unit, Even of Day recently made its comeback with the title song and album, Right Through Me.

In case you didn’t know, Day6 writes, and composes almost ALL of their discographies from debut until now; and MyDays, Day6’s fans, have dubbed their discographies as a No-Skip discography!

We’ve short listed some of DAY6’s best B-Sides that fits every mood. We kid you not, we had a hard time short listing them. Prepare for a roller coaster of emotions.

Wish from Daydream

This pop-rock song from DayDream, is written and composed by Frants, Sungjin, YoungK, Wonpil. Don’t be fooled by its upbeat melody as Wish is about one’s worries about oneself, how we’re hoping we’re better and happier.

Live your life from their Japanese album, Unlock

This rock song written by YoungK and composed by YoungK and Cha-ilHun is the 1st track from their Japanese Unlock album. A song that reminds us to live our own life, and don’t be afraid of other people’s judgement.

Marathon from Remember Us: Youth Part 2

Marathon, written by YoungK and composed by YoungK, Wonpil and Mr. Cho, is the 6th track from their Remember Us: Youth Part 2 album. This rock song is a way of Day6 assuring us that it is okay to rest, take it slow, and that they’re here for us.

Not Fine from The Book of Us: Entropy

Not Fine is a rock song, written by YoungK and composed by Jae, Sungjin, YoungK, Wonpil, and Hong Ji-sang, is the 8th track from their album, The Book of Us: Entropy. This song will make you jam and sing your heart one, as it tells a story of a couple on a brick of a break-up, and how one of them is really “not fine” in this relationship.

Only from The Book of Us: Negentropy

The fourth track from their latest group album, The Book of Us: Negentropy is a rock song written by YoungK and composed by Sungjin, Jae, YoungK, Wonpil, and Hong Jisang. This song will surely make you kilig and believe in love again! Imagine your lover singing this to you, swear it will make you feel butterflies!

Bonus: I’ll Try from Moonrise

Written by mr.cho and Wonpil, and composed by mr.cho, Wonpil, and Lee Min-kyung, this ballad, pop-rock, piano track from their Moonrise album will surely bawl your eyes out. Wonpil shares that he wrote this song to show his love for his mother. It truly is a song about how we feel to our parents and expresses the words and feelings that we rarely show to them.

With their meaningful lyrics and powerful vocals. It is without a doubt Day6 can make you cry, laugh, and all other emotions. Indeed there’s at least one song that you can jam to depending on your mood! These are just some of the hidden gems from Day6! Add them to your playlist and who knows you might be stanning them anytime soon.
