This local brand will give you the girl boss glow you've always wanted

This local and sustainable brand aims to provide cosmetics that are unique, organic, and suitable for every Filipina.

With the slogan “Glow with a Cause”, Chichi Glows advocates for societal awareness by helping out Filipino families through their donation program with the initiative of donating 10% of their monthly profits to a family in need, while the brand also promotes environmental sustainability.

From the packaging and their production processes, Chichi Glows only chooses to move with a green thumb.

With their recycled paper shreds for packaging fillers, all the more their products like the luminous gloss that contain only organic ingredients (e.g. Vitamin E, Coconut and Olive oil, Versagel), Chichi Glows aim to release beauty products that are both good-looking on the skin, and good for the environment.

Owned by young entrepreneur: Daphne Baleros, a sophomore taking the BS Management program of Ateneo de Manila University. Daphne wanted to offer Filipinas a more environment-friendly brand of makeup after seeing the current climate of the make up scene.

After launching early in the pandemic, Daphne shared how “The reason wasn’t really on the makeup itself but the thought of helping people.” Further elaborating on the donation program within her brand, she then shares again how  “A lot of people were asking for donations online and I wanted to give but I didn’t have allowance, plus,  I didn’t want to ask from my parents. With that dilemma in mind, I decided to create a gloss business since makeup is my expertise.”

Chichi Glows was then a Passion project that evolved into a business that gradually grew and then the product line expanded.

Just this October 1st, the makeup brand released its newest product: Candy Glow, their 10ml lightweight and non-stick multipurpose cream highlighter in the shades: Toffee (Golden Brown), Cotton Candy (Copper), Bubblegum (Gold), and Peppermint (Silver) just for 330php.

The immensely pigmented highlighter only needs “one dot” of the product and is already expected to last the whole day as it sits on your skin and gives your very own shiny glow in its varying colors.

Other than that, Chichi Glows also has an array of make-up for every Filipina to choose from, with their: multipurpose blushes, plumping/everyday glosses, and lip scrubs.

You can reach Chichi Glows on Instagram, Shopee, Tiktok and their Facebook page.
