𝐓𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐮𝐬 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟?

I represented my school in several art contests when I was younger, but left the practice when I went to pre-med school (UST College of Nursing). It was when I realized how much I love being an artist and decided not to pursue Medicine.

In 2016, I started watercolor painting. I had several projects as a watercolorist including being a contributing illustrator for Philippine Airlines’ Mabuhay Magazine. In 2019, I was elected to be a member of the Board of Trustees for the Philippine Guild of Watercolorists.

In 2020, I was given an award by the BGC Arts Center for my watercolor piece in the You Art Not Alone Quarantine Art Competition. In 2021, I won second place in the PGW Hues of Hope National Watercolor Contest and made it to the finals of the 2021 International Masters of Watercolour Alliance (Youth) Contest. Most recently, I was granted a Merit Award for being in the top 200 watercolorists who made it to the International Watercolour Masters 2022.

I regularly use my two nieces as models for my paintings. They have lovely eyes and amazing features. Also, I love drawing inspiration from the textures and colors of different fabrics and textiles

𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐲𝐥𝐞?

I paint loose watercolor portraits. The subjects seem to emerge from the background through lost and found edges.
