FirstOne Entertainment’s first P-Pop boy group, 1st.One has finally signed a contract deal with Warner Music PH!

As a group that is pieced together with true sense of discipline and determination, Ace (leader, main vocalist) , Alpha (rapper, main dancer), J (lead rapper), Jayson (vocalist, sub-rapper, bunso), Joker (lead vocalist), Max (main dancer, lead vocalist), and Gift as a special member, are expecting to produce and serve more bops under the new partnership.

“We are very excited to be partnering with 1st.One. Watching their music video for ‘SHOUT OUT’, I was blown away by their energy and amazing dancing. They have thoroughly impressed us with their ambition and determination to not only succeed, but to inspire. Warner Music Philippines is proud to amplify their sound and pave the way for their dreams,” says Sarah Ismail, Managing Director (Warner Music PH)

Come back with a Shout Out!

During the signing event, the group fired up the stage by performing three of their hit songs, “You Are The One (Ttak Maja Nuh),” “OH,” and their latest release, “SHOUT OUT,” which has already hit over 1.7 million views on YouTube as of writing.

The new track pays homage to the Filipino soldiers who fought alongside Korean soldiers during the 1950 Korean War, also known as the Philippines Expeditionary Forces to Korea (PEFTOK).

People may know them through their sharp choreographies and enticing visuals, but according to Max, 1st.One’s main dancer and lead vocalist, just like any other artist, the group has also suffered the consequences of the pandemic. It made the process of making a comeback took over a year in the making, as they went through ups and downs with production, choreography, and lyrics.

Luckily for the group, energizing and electrifying sound, mixed with intense rap and vocal verses, has found its way.

The 1st.One New Sound

Even before their official debut last 2020, 1st.One has already won awards as a group, such as winning 1st Place in the Dance Category at the 28th Philippine-Korea Cultural Exchange Festival in September 2018 and being the Grand Winner on Seoul Music Awards PH Dance To Your Seoul in November 2019. They also opened the Seoul Music Awards in 2020, performing dance covers of songs such as BTS’ “Boy In Luv” and “DOPE”, and NCT U’s “BOSS”.

If you want to see them live, here are some of the dates to look forward to:

April 9 –10, 2022 – P-Pop Convention at the New Frontier Theater
